Most Medicare Advantage Plans offer coverage for things that aren't covered by Original Medicare, like vision, hearing, dental, and wellness programs (like gym memberships). Plans can also cover more extra benefits than they have in the past. It's important to have someone guide you through the right plans to assure no future surprises that could have been avoided.
Medicare Supplement Coverage
Get help with some of the out-of-pocket costs not paid for by Medicare with a Medicare Supplement Insurance plan (Medigap). A Medicare Supplement plan lets you choose or keep your own doctor as long as they accept Medicare patients.
Prescription Drug Plans
Medicare offers prescription drug coverage to everyone with Medicare. If you decide not to join a Medicare Prescription Drug Plan (Part D) when you're first eligible, and you don't have other creditable prescription drug coverage, or you don't get Extra Help, you'll likely pay a late enrollment penalty.
To get Medicare drug coverage, you must join a plan run by an insurance company or other private company approved by Medicare. Each plan can vary.
